My pop had one for about 3 years and that was enough... Had both left and right front suspension bushings prematurely wear (on one of the connecting arms) and dealer would not replace even though this should have been a recall item, given the large number of others experiencing the problem. He was pissed. Traction control module burnt out - at only 70k miles?!?!?!? What a piece of crap. Cost him over $500 to replace that. He was even more pissed! He will never buy a Volvo or recommend one to anyone. this coming from a guy who's had a 92 Maxima SE for, like ever, with no problems at all. My advice - don't get a Volvo! PS: What did he replace the Volvo with? A Honda Odyssey Minivan - Yuck! and Double Yuck! But it's much more reliable than a Volvo or Nissan.
